Christopher 1,393
Your IQ is a 6.9?!?! :o Oh...emm...gee... JK :D @Zonar: He meant his PC has a rating of 6.9.
ZONAR 0
oh. and i should care why? besides when i get my windows 8 tablet my rating will prob be a point better then that.
Christopher 1,393
Never said you should care. At least I didn't. On a sidenote, I'm not so sure about a tablet being better than that. Unless it's a super tablet. Tablet's aren't meant for gaming and shit like that. Not trying to be mean, it's just that they're not meant for that kind of stuff. My computer isn't meant for gaming either to be frank. I'm just lucky it can handle games like Battlefield 2142, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Driver: San Francisco, and shit like that. It's a netbook, meant for school work -- not for gaming. But the processor has an integrated GPU which enables the use of basic games. I believe the Windows rating is dependent on how much HD capacity, HD speed, CPU, GPU, and a few other notable things about the system. So that's about it. Turns out my friend (madcat11) has the exact same processor as Ferrara -- which that CPU can be overclocked at 3.8 GHz I believe). I think his rating is between a 5-6. So it looks like (since most laptops and PCs use similar specs) that as long as your PC rating is around a 5.0, you should be able to play Battlefield 3 on it. Obviously it's not a definite thing since it depends on many factors, but it's a general idea. My netbook is a 4.6 and runs BF3 with lag. Sapper's PC is a 5 something and since it can run BFBC2, it can probably run BF3.
ZONAR 0
well the "tablet" im getting is basically a touch screen laptop. as for the rating based on what you just told me it looks like it might have a better rating or alteast a 5 which is a big improvement over this piece of shit. that being said even if i can play bf3 on it, it will prove to be difficult with the touch screen instead of a mouse o_O
Christopher 1,393
Playing BF3 on a tablet? LMAO That would be epic. :D
SAPPER 0
Okay my dumb ass went and bought the game today......I am not really all that impressed....
Christopher 1,393
You did?! :D Zonar and I were playing it on the PC together. You'll want to rank up and get unlocks. Then it's a good game. :) I'll teach you all about it.
ZONAR 0
its not as bad as i thought as long as you got a pc that wont lag when you play it lol
Christopher 1,393
Hell yeah. Let's hope we can all jump on sometime this week and play a bit. I must say, I'm not sure I'm keeping the BF2142 server. It's expensive and with possible job loss and a near empty server the whole time, I don't think it's worth it. I could rent a smaller one for a cheaper price, but we'll see.
