Such obligations can make participation feel more like a job than a community.

We understand the importance of flexibility and enjoyment in gaming. Therefore, we do not impose such stringent and, in our view, unnecessary requirements. Except for prohibitions against serious matters such as cheating, breaking real laws, or violating our gameplay or membership rules, our members are free to play when they want, where they want, and how they want! And not to worry— our gameplay and membership rules are designed to be lenient and straightforward, ensuring that players are not burdened with unnecessary complications and requirements.

Clear and Flexible Rules and Policies

Unlike many communities, clans, or guilds, our rules and policies are both clear and flexible. All policies are easily accessible on our website and are also available in a stripped-down, printer-friendly format for your convenience.

If you disagree with any of our rules, rest assured that they are not set in stone. We encourage members and even visitors to voice their concerns. If enough people express an issue with a particular rule, we will hold a vote to determine the best course of action. This democratic process allows us to decide collectively whether to slightly adjust, heavily modify, or completely remove the rule.

FREE Membership

Many other guilds and gaming communities, even those of a lesser caliber, often require a membership fee. Despite this, they frequently lack the organization and professionalism that we pride ourselves on. Running a successful gaming community with the powerful hardware, advanced software, and robust structure we offer is neither easy nor inexpensive—it demands significant investment and dedication.

Nevertheless, we firmly believe that these costs are our responsibility as community owners. Our goal is to provide a stable, professional platform where everyone can enjoy a seamless gaming experience. Therefore, membership in our community is absolutely free— it always has been, and it always will be. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and enjoyable environment without imposing financial barriers on our members.

Important Requirements

The New Team of Weapons and Tactics maintains relaxed requirements for applicants, reflecting our nature as a casual gaming organization. However, there are a few key requirements that we have outlined below. Age Requirement: 13 Years or Older

As a U.S.-based organization, the New Team of Weapons and Tactics adheres to local and federal laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), codified at 15 U.S.C. §§ 6501–6506. COPPA mandates specific requirements for operators of websites or online services that are directed at children under 13 years of age or that knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Due to the administrative complexity of verifying parental consent, we do not knowingly permit individuals under the age of 13 to register for our services. This age threshold is a direct response to comply with federal regulatory requirements.

Unlike many communities that enforce an 18+ restriction, we believe in the right of parents and guardians to determine the appropriateness of our community for their children. We further welcome members under the age of 18 who demonstrate maturity and respect, as we recognize that age is not always a definitive indicator of character, as we've seen time and time again.

Privacy and Verification Notice: We are aware of recent international legislation requiring invasive identity verification to satisfy age requirements. However, as a U.S.-based entity, we remain committed to member privacy. We do not require biometric data, "selfies," or government-issued identification for age verification. Instead, we utilize an honor system that utilizes the provided date of birth at registration to determine eligibility, ensuring our community remains both compliant and privacy-respecting.

Account Integrity Notice Please be advised that the New Team of Weapons and Tactics relies on the accuracy of the information provided during registration. Should we later obtain actual knowledge that a member has provided false information regarding their age, or if it is otherwise determined that a user is under the age of 13, we are federally mandated to terminate the account and delete all associated personal data. This action is not a reflection of the individual member's conduct, but a necessary measure to ensure that our organization remains in full compliance with United States federal law.

Exclusive Membership Policy

For reasons related to security, integrity, and operational focus, all members of the New Team of Weapons and Tactics are required to maintain exclusive affiliation with this community. Membership in any other gaming-related group, clan, guild, organization, or similar entity is strictly prohibited while affiliated with our community. No Cheating

To ensure a fair gaming environment for all members and visitors, cheating of any kind is strictly prohibited. Any behavior that condones or supports the use of cheats will not be tolerated. According to our organization’s policy, prospective applicants who have previously cheated may join the New Team of Weapons and Tactics only if they have been cheat-free for a continuous period of at least one year (365 days). This includes all forms of cheating, whether on record or not, and includes any bans for cheat violations that are publicly documented.
