The Go Fuck Yourself Battlefield Server #18562

Introduction

This server was originally started in 2018 as a lighthearted side project founded by members of the New Team of Weapons and Tactics [NTWT] (https://www.ntwt.us/) and Team Section 8 [Sc8] (http://en.sc8.ca/). We won't go into too much detail on that here, but you can learn more at our dedicated GFY page.

Long story short, the New Team of Weapons and Tactics has assumed stewardship of the server since mid-2020. We’ve preserved the original rule set and gameplay configuration to maintain the spirit of the Go Fuck Yourself community experience. Additionally, we've created dedicated resources for players— including guides for tools like PunkBuster and a comprehensive server rules page (e.g., no cheating, racism, or abusive behavior).

Report a Player

The best way to report a player is through through our Report Center directly here on our website. Reporting through the reporter the opportunity to provide a detailed account of where, when, and what exactly happened, as well as places to provide any evidence that you might have, such as screenshots or video links.

You can report players in-game while in our server as well, but this should be used in addition to a formal report (through the above link) and not instead of. To report a player in-game, use the following format when typing into the in-game chat:
!report [player name] [reason]. For example, to report a player named qqmoncher for cheats, you could type:

!report qqmoncher cheats

Request an Admin

To request an admin, use the following format when typing into the in-game chat: !admin [reason]. For example, to request an admin because the server is lagging, you could type:

!admin server lagging

In-Game Chat Commands

The list below displays the majority of the commands you may find useful to use during your stay on our server. There are additional hidden commands that are not shown here— these, you'll just have to discover yourself.

[Command for All Players]

!y                            Use to Confirm/Yes a command if prompted.
!n                            Use to Decline/No a command if prompted.
!rules                        Display server rules.
!admin reason                 Request an administrator for a particular purpose.
!report player reason         Report a player for a particular purpose.
!p                            Punish for the last teamkill.
!f                            Forgive the last teamkill.
!kv player reason             Start a kick vote against a player.
!bv player reason             Start a ban vote against a player.
1, 2, 3, or 4                 Use the appropriate number to vote for the next map when a map vote is in progress.
!pt_on                        Enables the pacification timers. These timers indicate your survival time and display whenever you die.
!pt_off                       Disables the pacification timers.
!killme                       Kill yourself.
!kickme                       Kick yourself from the server.
