raiderfo Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Well, I'm not going to say that it's been fun, or that I've had a good run. I'm retiring from Battlefield 3, and I can honestly say that getting rid of this game is the only enjoyment I've ever gotten out of it. I've played 200 hours now. 200 hours of dealing with retarded teammates, glitch abusing assholes, a broken matchmaking system, bullshit lag-compensation, and the endless waves of douchebags. So, this will probably be the last that anyone hears from me, I have no intention of playing the game ever again, nor do I have any intentions of ever playing any Battlefield game again. This was undoubtedly the worst 110$ I've ever spent, and undoubtedly the last money I'll ever spend on any product associated with DICE. Good luck to the rest of you, I don't know how you put up with the bullshit.
Gilly Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 You have any Call of Duty games? I got to say BF3 lags are pretty bad. You can jump and all but you cant move thats what i dont like about it. CoD on the other hand it lets you know straight up if it lags cause you cant shoot or do anything.
raiderfo Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 I own Call of Duty 4, I don't play it though. I don't really play any multiplayer games anymore, I've grown tired of putting up with other people's BS and then continuing to get the shit end of the stick.
Gilly Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Ohh. Well im starting to grow out of games a little sadly. I gues its just cause my parents banned me from my computer so i think im not used it so i think thats the other reason.

Sorry to hear you won't play it again, but hopefully we can still keep in touch if you don't mind. You play any Grand Theft Auto games?

raiderfo Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 I don't own any of the Grand Theft Auto games. I rented Grand Theft Auto 4 once, but that's the only time I've played one. I'm not sure what games I'll be on in the future, I know I'll be playing Army of Two: Devil's Cartel for the next couple of days, and probably Bioshock Infinite, but other than that I don't know what games I'll be on. I might go back to Bad Company 2, but that's if I get it for PC.
Christopher Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I see. I actually have BFBC2 for PC but don't play it. Not a fan of it to be honest, but I didn't get a chance to actually play it. Hopefully you can stick around here if you don't mind. We're happy to stay friends. @Gilly: Google, the Google Search Engine: http://www.google.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google
raiderfo Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 I preferred BFBC2 for the maps, and because it didn't have lag comp or the private owned BS servers. I don't enjoy BF3's maps because of their general nature of being a vast expanse of nothingness where tanks and helicopters are free to mow you down. I also don't like that there's pretty much nothing to destroy. BFBC2 also didn't have lag-comp, so when I shot things they would actually take damage, compared to BF3 where damage registering can't be predicted. DICE doesn't seem to have any intentions of making a Bad Company 3, so I don't really think I'll be returning to BF any time soon. I'll still be around here, but probably not talking about BF3. If anyone needs help on other games, hit me up for information. Gaming is what I do pretty much all day every day.
Christopher Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 So I moved this topic to the private area only so I don't get a any shit from enemies about what I'm going to say... Sounds good, raiderfo. If you want, I can give you my copy of BFBC2. It's on Steam (I don't play it), so let me know and I'll PM you my account details. I don't play it to be honest. My stats are empty, I believe, so you can just add a soldier and play as if it were you. Doesn't matter to me. :)
raiderfo Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 Nah, it's fine. I'll scrap up the money to get a copy one way or another. I don't need to play BFBC2, I've just been thinking about going back to it lately. Only reason I've been thinking about getting it on PC is because getting into a decently populated server on PS3 can take quite a few tries since you can't pick your servers. If I really really want to play it, I can always dust off my copy on PS3.
Christopher Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Ah, I see. No prob, then. If you change your mind, my offer will stay open as I don't play it. :P I have the expansion pack Vietnam with it, as well. (I think it's for BFBC2, not positive).
