Any guns or weapons you hope to see in BF4?

I would love to see the Kriss Vector in BF4 maybe even with the cold tracer rounds and I wouldn't mind some more melee style weapons, perhaps the M48 tomahawk ;)

The one weapon I'd like to see is a Desert Eagle .50 cal. That would be nice, but only if it's an exclusive gun for preorders or something like that.

There's a lot of guns I want to see in BF4. Lots and lots of them. I could start naming a few, but that would become an exceedingly large list. So is the case with most gun-enthusiasts like myself. If I had to pick one gun that hasn't been in the series previously, I would pick the RPD Carbine, but a lightweight, high capacity, easily-operated LMG would probably be considered over-powered. Preferably I would like to see the Mac-10, but there's no way that would be considered a balanced weapon, even if it took up a primary slot. Maybe the ASh assault rifle, but 12.7 in an assault rifle would probably be imbalanced as well. Come to think of it, there's just too many amazing guns that will never make it into Battlefield games.

Maybe I shall just list a good portion of the guns I want to see in Battlefield 4 that weren't in Battlefield 3... (Some of these might be in the game, but I probably won't know that... 'Cause I'm not psychic...)

The Serbu Super Shorty shotgun. (It might actually be in the game, or at least a shotgun very similar to it.)

The M4 Spectre sub-machine gun.

The PM63 machine pistol.

The 9A91 carbine. (Yes, it's basically the AS VAL without a suppressor, but sometimes you need 9x39 Subsonic in a non-silenced package.)

The Shipka sub-machine gun.

The Mossberg 500 Flex and 500 bullpup.

The Chang Feng sub-machine gun.

The Type-79 sub-machine gun. (Modern iteration of course.)

The Agram 2000/2002 sub-machine gun.

The Jatimatic sub-machine gun.

The Star Z 84 machine pistol.

The Uzi. (I'm still not sure why this gun wasn't in BF3...)

The VBR B PDW.

The Norinco SKS bullpup.

The Felin 2C assault rifle. (Similar to the Famas already in BF3, but without the crappy iron-sights, and the burst-fire it deserves.)

The Taurus MT-9 sub-machine gun.

The SAF 200 sub-machine gun.

The Ak-5d assault rifle.

The SRM 1216 shotgun.

The Calico 950 machine pistol. (Yes, these guns were discontinued a long time ago. But how often do video-games bother listening to that?)

The Spas 15 shotgun.

The Intratec DC9 machine pistol. (Made popular by the movie Big Trouble in Little China Town.)

The AK 47. (Seriously. How do you make a war game without the AK 47? That's like making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without any bread.)

The Kushnapup shotgun. (It's a bullpup version of the Saiga 12... But why not?)

The AT4.

The Benelli CB M2 sub-machine gun.

The AR57. (I can understand this gun not being put in. It can utilize a P90 magazine AND Stanag/P-mags. Slap on a M320 and you've got an all purpose kill stick.)

The Benelli M3T shotgun.

The Beretta ARX 160 assault rifle.

The QBZ 95 assault rifle.

The Type 03 assault rifle.

The Beretta RX4 Storm. (Carbine... I think?)

The APC 9 sub-machine gun.

The Steyr TMP machine pistol.

The Cz 805 assault rifle.

The Skorpion Evo 3 sub-machine gun.

The Derya Yeni Anakon shotgun.

The Sig MPX sub-machine gun.

The Excel Arms 5.7 series. (Rifle and whatever that smaller version is considered. Carbine/SMG/Machine-Pistol. Whatever it is, the world needs more 5.7.)

The FN FAL assault rifle/battle rifle.

The Imbel MD-97L assault rifle. (Similar to an FN FAL, but made for 5.56, and has a pretty serious fire rate.)

The FN FNC assault rifle.

The Fort 500 shotgun.

The FN Five-Seven pistol.

The Fx 05. (Similar to the G36 series.)

The Galil ACE. (It comes in assault rifle and carbine.)

The Galil Arm-R. (I'm really only suggesting this weapon because it has 35 rounds.)

The Hawk Industries Semi-Automatic Shotgun. (It comes in standard and bullpup. There's also a Norinco shotgun that's basically identical.)

The XM8 assault rifle.

The HS10 shotgun.

The MAG 7 shotgun.

The AA12 shotgun. (Probably undoubtedly over-powered... But it'd be nice for single player... Maybe...?)

The TAR-21 assault rifle. (Not to be confused with the MTAR. This is the bigger version.)

The QBS 09 shotgun.

The Insas Kalantak assault rifle.

The Ithaca 37 shotgun.

The KEDR 1 machine pistol.

The Kel-Tec KSG. (14+1 shells in a shotgun... Probably overpowered, but DICE has made some overpowered guns... Pre-patch USAS 12...)

The Kriss Vector submachine-gun. (Why is there such a massive lack of .45s in Battlefield 3?)

The Lapa-03 assault rifle. (It's not that great... But variety is nice.)

The LW3 shotgun. (Another shotgun that would probably be overpowered... I can dream that it will be in the game, though...)

The Monolith Arms p12 shotgun. (This is like the P90, but as a shotgun.)

The MSMC sub-machine gun.

The Groza OTS 14 rifle-thingy.

The Pindad SS2 assault rifle.

The PLR-16 assault rifle. (It can use 5.56 or 5.7. But not at the same time like the AR57 can.)

The Daewoo K2 assault rifle.

The Remington Model 11 shotgun.

The Robarm M96 assault rifle. (There's another version of the M96 that loads like a Bren gun. It's pretty awesome.)

The Robarm XCR carbine. (I think it's a carbine...)

The Samopal CZW 438 carbine.

The Winchester 1887 shotgun.

The SR88A assault rifle.

The Stoner 63 light machine gun. (It also comes in assault rifle variant.)

The STK CPW machine pistol.

The Subor PMM sub-machine gun.

The TOZ-194 shotgun.

The Type-05 sub-machine gun.

The Ultimax Mk3 light machine gun.

The UTS-15 shotgun. (Realistically speaking, the UTS-15 is very unreliable, but it'd be cool to see one in a video-game.)

The Valtro PM5 shotgun.

The Vector SS77 light machine gun.

The VEPR 12 shotgun.

The VEPR assault rifle. (It's basically a bullpup AK 47.)

The LR300 assault rifle.

The HK23 light machine gun.

The Vz 61 machine pistol.

The Taurus PT24/7 40BP pistol.

The Bushmaster ACR. (Or the Magpul Masada, for those of us living in the past.)

The Sig P226 pistol.

The HK USP.

The Beretta Model 12 sub-machine gun.

The BEW+F Mod SG E22 assault rifle. (That name is a mouth full. This gun was also just a prototype for 6.5 ammunition when the Swiss army decided they wanted smaller caliber rounds. You might have trouble finding pictures, or any information on this gun. There is a newer version of it, but I forget the name.)

The HK G11 assault rifle. (Sure, another prototype. Sure, not in use. But for the sake of variety, it'd be nice to have in the game.)

The Wa 2000 sniper rifle. (It's not really a military weapon, but it sure is cool.)

The Bren Ten pistol. (It's in 10mm. Not a commonly used round. It'd be nice to see one in-game. A gun that uses the ammo, I mean. Not a singular 10mm bullet.)

The PX4 Storm pistol.

The LKP PAP battle rifle. (It's like a marksman version of the AK-47. Yes, I know that the Dragunov is basically a marksman version of the AK-47, but shaddap.)

The Kel-Tec RFB. (It's a bullpup version of the FN FAL basically.)

The S&W 608 pistol. (Eight shots in a revolver isn't that common in Battlefield. This gun would alleviate that problem.)

The Para-Ordnance 1911A1 pistol. (There are a lot of Para-Ord 1911's, but this one holds 14+1 rounds. In case 7+1 rounds of .45 wasn't enough.)

The DSR 50 sniper rifle. (I haven't mentioned a whole lot of snipers. I don't really like them that much.)

The Walther P99 pistol.

The Micro Uzi. (When in need of a pocket-sized bullet-hose, look no further.)

The QSZ-92 pistol.

The APR308 sniper rifle.

The GOL Magnum sniper rifle.

The Neostead 2000 shotgun.

The Sig 556 assault rifle.

The HK PSG1 sniper rifle.

The SAR assault rifle. (It's a lot like the TAR-21... I know... Really original...)

The Truvelo Raptor assault rifle. (It has raptor in the name. C'mon, you know it has to be cool.)

The Coonan Automatic pistol. (Because we don't want a semi-auto clip-fed .357 pistol... We need it.)

The 44 Auto-Mag pistol. (Yes, it's a fully automatic .44. Yes, it kicks like a mule. Yes, it's awesome.)

The MPA 57 machine pistol.

The MG4 light machine gun.

The KAC chainSAW. (Almost the same thing as the SAW, but the grip is positioned differently.)

I would also love to see the OA93 in Battlefield 4, as a joke. It's a pistol that uses 5.56 Stanag magazines, and fires like a sub-machine gun. Even better, you can get drum mags for it. Even better than that, you can get a long barrel for it. In case you ever needed an assault-sub-pistol-machine-gun. Yes, the OA 93 is real. I honestly have no idea what kind of person needs that kind of weapon.

That's all the guns I'll be listing... For now... There were many, MANY more guns I could have put, but didn't.

Reasons for not putting up the other guns:

One: I can't remember all of the names of every gun I've seen, some of them I have pictures of, but just can't remember the name.

Two: Some guns I don't really care for, an example would be the VP70. I don't really like some guns, so I didn't list them.

Three: Some guns are just way too ridiculous to list, for example, the Hawk MM1 grenade launcher. A 12 round fully automatic grenade launcher, would probably never make it into the game. So really badass weapons like that, I didn't bother listing. There are guns that would be cool to have, like the Desert Eagle, or the AS-50, but there's no way DICE is going to let us use weapons that powerful.

Four: A good portion of the guns I like are already in the game. For example, I absolutely adore the M416, and that gun is already in the game.

You might also be asking: Why no flame throwers?

The Answer: Flamethrowers fall into the category known as "Too much fun."

i would like to see the intervention sniper rifle in BF4

Half of the weapons mentioned in this thread I've never even heard of :P

I'm not a gun enthusiast though, so oh well.

I can understand lots of people not being as 'enthusiastic' as I am about firearms. Although some people might say it's not so much 'enthusiasm' as it is an 'obsession'. Perhaps I've read a few too many gun encyclopedias.

I see what you mean. It's very natural for males to have an interest in guns. I was rather weird when I was younger and really didn't care much for them.

These days I'm far more interested than I ever was, but I only know about a (probably small) selection of guns.

Would like to see the C7 (Canadian M16). The thing is, EA won’t be paying gun manufacturers for rights to use the names and their weapons in Battlefield 4 and other future EA titles

They did this in BF3 but not at the major extence, ie. the G17 in the game is obviously the Glock 17 and the 44 Magnum was actually based on a Colt Anaconda. Would really be a shame if they changed the name of one of the most famous guns in the M16

edit: Im you you guys (and Gal :P ) already know about this site, but if not here it is. Basically Up to Date info reguarding BF4, update it mainly every day with stuff. http://bf4central.com/
