The New Team of Weapons and Tactics uses a custom ranking system, wherein the first portion of the ranks serve to dictate seniority amongst our rank and file (also known as our enlisted members), and the remaining portion dictates a staff role within the organization. As of July 2021, our ranking system has been simplified— there are now a total of 10 ranks, in lieu of the former 15 ranks wherein ranks 1-10 were enlisted and 11-15 were for staff positions. As we are a diverse organization with our largest focus in gaming involving games where our members take the role of military and police, our bespoke ranking system may bear a distant resemblance to some military or police ranking systems.
Enlisted denotes the rank and file of the New Team of Weapons and Tactics. These members are the bread and butter of our organization, and are the very reason we even exist in the first place. Enlisted members focus on playing, socializing, and having fun, without the burden of any administrative responsibilities.
All newly-joined members of the New Team of Weapons and Tactics begin their journey as an auxiliary member. As an auxiliary member, they have access to the all of our basic member services, including our forums, website, game servers, and communication servers.
Upon passing the mandatory probationary period, members are promoted to the Recruit rank. All probationary restrictions are lifted and these members are now considered full-time members of the New Team of Weapons and Tactics, with full access to all member resources.
The second official rank, members are promoted to the rank of Private after continued active service for 2-4 months of active duty, after reaching the rank of Recruit (or 5-7) months of total active service).
03. Private First Class
Members can be promoted to Private First Class after continued active service for another 3-5 months after being promoted to Private (or 10-12 months of total active service).
04. Lance Corporal
The second-to-last rank for the enlisted, members can be promoted to Lance Corporal after 6-12 months of continued active service since their promotion to Private First Class (or one-and-a-half to 2 years of total active service). Exceptions on time requisites can be made on a case-by-case basis for members who demonstrate exceptional dedication and service to the organization.
The last, highest, and most respective rank that enlisted members can achieve before getting into the ranks involving administrative and staff. Enlisted members that achieve this rank have reached the highest level of the rank and file, and are allowed to remain at their rank indefinitely unless they wish to move into a staff position. Members are eligible for promotion to this rank after another 10-12 months after their promotion to Lance Corporal (or roughly 3 years of total active service). Exceptions on time requisites can be made on a case-by-case basis for members who demonstrate exceptional dedication and service to the organization.
Administration and Staff
Our administrators and staff members help with day-to-day administrative and clerical operations of the New Team of Weapons and Tactics. These members, who were once part of our rank and file, now help fill more critical administrative and staff roles to help keep the organization in tip-top shape.
A Sergeant is the first-level supervisor to all rank and file at a precinct level. They assist with the usual day-to-day operations, such as roll-call, assigning members to certain tasks when appropriate, and miscellaneous other administrative duties. A typical precinct consists of 2-4 Sergeants.
A Lieutenant is the second-level supervisor to all rank and file at a precinct level. They assist with the more specific administrative duties to assist Sergeants and Captains. In case the precinct Captain is unavailable, a Lieutenant (in order of seniority) is appointed to take temporary responsibilities of the Captain during their unavailability. A typical precinct consists of 1-3 Lieutenants.
A Captain is the top-level supervisor to all members (staff and enlisted) at a precinct level. They are responsible for all operations and members within their precinct, and are encouraged to use their Lieutenants and Sergeants to aid in the miscellaneous day-to-day administrative responsibilities. All precincts consist of exactly one Captain.
Superintendents help to oversee the operations of all precincts in the organization, and are first-level supervisors to all members at an organization level. Under usual circumstances, this is typically the highest rank a staff member can achieve and is offered only to those who have demonstrated outstanding and extraordinary behavior and utmost dedication to helping operate the New Team of Weapons and Tactics as a whole.
The Commissioner rank is reserved to the original founding fathers of the New Team of Weapons and Tactics. They communicate closely with Superintendents and manage the organization and precincts in whole. Commissioners are, in-effect, all co-owners of the New Team of Weapons and Tactics.

Membership at the New Team of Weapons and Tactics is available to anyone who wishes to join our team, as long as we're accepting applications.

Join our Administration and Staff
Our administration and staff team is available only to official enlisted members of the New Team of Weapons and Tactics. Enlisted members who are interested in becoming a staff member must meet certain prerequisites. This helps to maintain a level of discipline and professionalism amongst our administration and staff. In order to be eligible for the a staff position, enlisted members must:
- Continuous active service with the New Team of Weapons and Tactics for at least 2 years
- Hold the rank of Corporal for at least 6 months
- Have no warnings, citations, or any form of disciplinary actions on-file against them
All enlisted members who meet the above requirements are eligible to apply for a staff position. Approved applicants will be placed in a queued waiting-list, amongst other approved applicants, and when appropriate will be offered a promotion to Sergeant.
