You bitches can all say "someone has too much time on their hands" and all, but you don't know the stress of explaining a simple concept to someone that happens to take 2 hours, simply because they don't understand everything you said. After doing that bullshit for 3 years, spending a month to write a manual where I can just tell people the basics and then "go read for more details", has saved me a lot of time, energy, and frustration.

 

 

I'll be the one laughing when you guys actually use it to quickly look up the stats of a weapon or to try and find a way to get your team's ass out of trouble. :P

Unfortunately, due to the setup of IPB, there can only be one System Network Admin + a backup, which is the Christopher account. It's essentially the Server Owner account, just renamed. I wish I could make you a network admin, but unfortunately, it's just not possible with the software we're using add it's tied between the group ID and user ID which isn't modifiable. Sorry. It's something I didn't know about this software until later.

 

 

I assume you're wanting the privileges to edit others' accounts? If so, you still can, but use the ModCP instead of the AdminCP. There's AdminCP restrictions for non system groups, but no ModCP restrictions. ;)

Well, this software was probably written by a bunch of dumbasses. Older versions used to have the ability to make multiple owners, but for some stupid reason they removed the feature. Stupid move in my opinion.

I'm working as hard as I can on it. There will most likely be a BETA that the admins will receive early to do a quick check for typos, etc. But this isn't a definite decision. I'll provide further details as the date gets closer. And if I finish the book early, I will likely release it earlier too.
