Ranking Images

 

Our ranking system is now complete with the images designed, installed, and configured on our board. If you do not see the images, you may need to clear your browser's cache, but everything should be all set and you should see everything without problems. In case anyone is curious, the badges we previously had will likely not come back; the current images fit better and take up less space, which in turn allows the board and its forums look more or less normal. If they do come back, they will be used for other purposes. The question really remains, what purpose(s) they would actually be used for. I still have the badge images saved in a secure location, so if anyone thinks of a reason to ever use them, or if we ever introduce a new feature where it makes sense to use them, then we will. But for now, I don't see that happening.

 

Current Promotions

 

As promised in an earlier announcement, I promised that every active member would be eligible for a promotion. As such, I have went through the member roster on our forums and have applied the necessary promotions to everyone. Members who have been quite active may have received two promotions whereas less active members received one promotion. Those who only logged in once or twice or haven't posted anything did not receive a promotion.

 

Current Promotions

 

From now on, in order to make things easier, official members will be evaluated on the 1st of every month or two for a promotion. If you meet or exceed the requirements for a promotion, you'll get one. Otherwise, you won't and will remain your current rank until you are re-evaluated the following month, where the same process will apply. Members in the beginning of the ranking system will be evaluated monthly while members in the later ending areas of our ranking system may be evaluated every month and a half or two months. Generally speaking, being an active member on our game servers, forums, and simply having fun will likely get you to a promotion. Never playing with anyone and/or not playing on our game servers, etc. won't necessarily prevent you from getting promoted, but will likely slow the process down.

 

It is also worth noting (in-case you weren't aware) that demotions are given for members who demonstrate unprofessional, discourteous, and/or disrespectful behavior. Such behavior demonstrated anywhere (while on our game servers, forum, or with other team members) can earn you a demotion. First offences (depending on the severity) usually result in a warning (or a demotion if more serious), second offences may result in a temporary suspension from the team, while a third offence may result in an immediate termination of your membership here. Everyone makes mistakes and we understand that, but when it becomes repetitive, it seems to be more of a habit which is something you might need to work on if that's the case. In the end, we will not tolerate people that are consistently disrespectful or unprofessional.

Is there a way to tel if X person doesn't play on the server?. Is there a website that ha a list of every sever that person went to or something?

The only site that we can go off of unfortunately is BF3Stats.com and even that is somewhat of a pain. I check that site every now and then but generally, server admins (like yourself) are familiar with who typically plays on our servers.

 

The page on our main website with the rankings is here: https://sites.google.com/a/teamofweapon ... ing-system. The images down there are the insignia rather than the plates that are shown here on our forums. They will likely be replaced with the plates soon to prevent confusion. I will post an update when that's done. :)
