Update Version 1.3.0 - Coming Soon
I wanted to personally apologize to the public for the latest release of EIS (version 1.2.0) which was rushed unlike how any other release is usually processed. There were a lot of unforeseen bugs that undoubtedly should have been caught prior to release. The upcoming version 1.3.0 has undergone significant redesign and optimization in attempt to fix these bugs and optimize the system overall for improved performance and reliability.
Due to the upcoming update in GTA Online scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2015, which will likely break compatibility with modifications such as EIS, the release of Version 1.3.0 will be delayed until after the GTA Online update. There's no scheduled date at this time, since re-instating modification compatibility will depend on the schedule of various people outside of the EIS and finally my schedule, which is frequently changing. Rest assured, we will meanwhile employ extensive testing to this upcoming version to ensure that it is the most stable and reliable version of EIS yet to be released to the public.
Database Fixes
Please note that due to recent changes in Extender Information Security 2015 R2 from the old (and no longer supported) Extender Information Security 2015, old databases were not updated for some people. Please ensure that any of the following files (if they exist in your Grand Theft Auto V installation directory:
are renamed to:
If these are not named correctly, EIS databases will fail to be updated appropriately. And if these aren't able to updated, systems such as the Threat Protection System. will not be able to provide you with accurate, up-to-date protection.
As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reply to this thread.
