The New Team of Weapons and Tactics is proud to wishes to formally welcome its members and visitors to 2016 and announce a few updates to the Network that have been recently in-the-works and have been applied.
Updated Terms of Service, End User License Agreement, and Privacy Policy
We've made some major revisions to our Terms of Service, Software EULA, and Privacy Policies, and have re-organized all global terms, EULA's, and privacy policies into corresponding documents, and merged things that we felt did not need to be separated. All forum rules and policies for example, are now part of our Terms of Service. No major changes were made to the actual terms and policies themselves in any of the documents, however, some changes were made during our recent decision to merge and separate the documents. We encourage users be familiar with these documents for their own well-being. The documents and their corresponding locations are as follows:

New Theme: <abbr title="New Team of Weapons and Tactics">NTWT</abbr> 2016 (Responsive)
As part of the update, and in accordance with the January 2016 Supported Games announcement (found here: https://www.teamofweaponsandtactics.com/index.php?/forums/topic/375-officially-supported-games-jan-2016), we've released the new <abbr title="New Team of Weapons and Tactics">NTWT</abbr> 2016 theme, which features new customization options to allow you to further personalize your experience:
- Theme Changer: Change the primary and secondary colors of the theme from the available set of colors
- Background Changer: Customize the background of your choice from the available list of backgrounds
The theme is fully-responsive and is designed to adapt to mobile devices. Overtime, we will be improving on the selection of colors, backgrounds, and additionally, will be releasing a non-responsive version of the theme for those who prefer a desktop-version of the site, even when on their mobile devices. Suggestions are also welcome.
Updated Crew Logo for Grand Theft Auto Online
After some thoughts and decisions, we finally redesigned the crew logo that we used in GTA Online to be more friendly with both light and dark colors. The newly designed emblem is light-blue, with our new slogan printed under the main part of the logo.
Particularly, for the San Andreas State Police, this means that the emblem will work much better for vehicles that are black or white, rather than the old logo which was white and was thus partially invisible on white vehicles.
Extender Information Security 2015 R2 Itanium x64 Edition
Version 2.0.0 of Extender Information Security 2015 R2 Itanium x64 Edition (version 1.8.0 found here: https://www.teamofweaponsandtactics.com/index.php?/files/file/11-extender-information-security-2015-r2-itanium-x64-edition/) is in gradual development and testing. Please note that version 1.8.0 is obsolete at this time, and is not compatible with GTA Online 1.32.
Due to the nature of recently-implemented anti-cheat systems in Grand Theft Auto Online which wrongly detect older versions of the software as a cheat, extreme caution is required to ensure that usage of the software results in minimal to nearly no bans or other restrictions in being placed on people's GTA Online accounts due to using the software. An update will not be released until an apt amount of time is given for proper testing in a variety of situations, to ensure safety. If, over time, extensive testing continuous to suggest that too many elements of the software be detected and deem it to be unsafe for Online usage, development on the software may come to a halt. Although cheaters are bound to exist in all games, it is hoped that either a sufficient method be deemed safe to use the software, or that the anti-cheat is sufficient to keep players relatively free of cheaters and griefers in the PC version of GTA Online. Further information about the future of Extender Information Security will be discussed in the later, depending on the testing process. There is no ETA on this, and as safety is our #1 concern (especially in being a security software), we do kindly ask for everyone's patience and cooperation.
With all that said, we do wish everyone a happy belated new year and look forward to another round of fun-filled experiences! As always, feel free to respond directly to this thread if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns.
